Free Energy: Fact or Fantasy?

An article in the November 12, 2001 issue of American Free Press concerned possible confirmation or application of the little known electrical pioneering turn of the century discoveries of the wizard of electronics Nikola Tesla.  Who was working on providing free electricity to all.  Who was Tesla?

   Tesla mostly did not patent his inventions such as the practicality of alternating current, and electrical generators, so eventually Tesla went bankrupt in New Jersey.  Although Tesla did in 1905 prove he could alter the weather and climate of northern regions and had a patent on that.  But a man in Colorado Springs privately owned the electrical generating company, and offered to build Tesla a home and finance a laboratory and provide for free all the electricity Tesla would need for experiments.

   So, Tesla thought it was time to come forth with his greatest of all inventions.  Most companies transport electricity with wires above ground.  Tesla would distribute electricity
by sending it underground.  And it would be free.

   So Tesla sent a large pulse of electricity into the ground and right away saw that the charge passed right through the earth and bounced back from the other side.  And when it came back, Tesla could amplify it and send it back again.  So he kept doing that until every blade of grass in his lawn had a 3 inch flame of St. Elmo’s fire going up from it.  And people passing by on the sidewalk had 6 inch static sparks jumping into the heels of their shoes.  And Tesla’s chimney had a 100 foot St. Elmo’s fire flame going up.  To this day, no one ever has been able to do it again to that magnitude.  The Pentegon and Defense Department would like to be able to do it again.  And have been working on it.  They figure that if there is another war, they wouldn’t have to shoot the other guy.  A big pulse down through the earth would burn up all the other guy’s computers.  Russians are said to also be working on it but can direct their pulses better.  And are said to already have burned up computers in Finland.

   But something happened thatTesla had not foreseen.  He burned the insulation off of all the wiring in the generating plant.  So the owner said, “That’s it.  No more free electricity for Tesla.”  And that was the end of Tesla’s career.

   But in recent years a few scientists have been probing and applying Tesla’s theories.  Tesla had proved in a number of experiments that ordinary electricity is made of two components consisting of a flow of electrons carrying a negative charge, and also an underlying etheric energy which is neutral in charge.   In the late 1970's the late Ed Gray  apparently rediscovered this “cold energy”,which does not shock a person, and that it provides all the benefits of ordinary electricity except that it is a lot cheaper to produce.

   Ed Gray said he used only “one side” of the electricity, the “cold electricity”, the kind that does not shock you.  You can basically take ordinary electricity and crack it in half.  And this process is what Gray called “splitting the positive”.  Tesla called it “fractionation”.   This is not perpetual motion.  It is the natural energy that’s present in the way the universe operates.

   Some years ago, at least one TV documentary filmed Ed Gray and several working models of Gray’s EMA motor at his facility in Grand Prairie, Texas.  I remember that when Gray started one up, there were several (about 6) flashlight batteries visible in it.  It was about the size of a 60 HP gasoline motor.  It had the appearance of a standard electrical generator having a rotor turning inside a coil.  And Gray mentioned that it was cutting magnetic lines of force.  Gray hand cranked it with about a one-quarter hard jerk turn.  And it started and continued revolving with no apparent outside input of energy.  And continuously non-stop lit a 100 watt bulb for at least two years.  It was taking energy out of the air, or rather, from the aether.   Free electricity as Tesla had promiced!

   Can you imagine the consternation of the giant electrical generating companies everywhere at the prospect of free electricity for everyone?  The very best engineers could not show Gray’s machine did not work as claimed.  Rather predictably Ed Gray mysteriously “died”.  The landlord stacked the machines in a corner where they were neglected for years.

   Then Norm Wooden took them to his shop, opened them up and cleaned them.  Dr Peter Lindemann being interviewed on Radio Free America, explained that we now basically know everything going on in the motors.  And is sure they can “split the positive” to produce the “cold energy” the motors run on.  Ed Gray was very good at what he was doing and it is now recognized that his technology had at least 3 or 4 different energy gain processes involved that produce 100 more times as much energy as it used.  Gray already in 1975 had patents on how to use electricity and then recapture it to recharge his batteries.
There is said to be a large movement of interest world-wide.  But apparently funding is lacking to build a technology that would benefit all mankind.

In a Dec. 17, 2001 article, American Free Press presents an article claiming that natural gas and petroleum oil naturally occurring everywhere and there can never be a real shortage.  Dr. Thomas Gold contends that oil, natural gas and coal are not “fossil fuels, but instead are constantly being manufactured within the earth.  His theory in his book The Deep Hot Biosphere: The Myth Of Fossil Fuels explains that here are fungi, microbes and bacteria that can withstand the hotter than boiling temperatures and which naturally feed on primordial hydro-carbon mixtures and produce petroleum.  That anthercite coal could not possibly be formed from growing plants having been transformed by centuries of heat and pressure, Gold points to anthercite coal having such as perfectly formed fossils of delicate leaves, complete animal skeletons not deformed, and even an intact human skull.
Then it has to be that what became anthercite coal was once a liquid into which living things were falling.  And if dinosaurs were extinct 50 millions before there were humans, then the human skull shows that anthercite formed much more recently than the age of the dinosaurs.

   To test his theory that petroleum is everywhere present, Gold drilled an oil well at a place in Sweden where it was known there would be nothing but solid granite all the way down.  And the well yielded 80 barrels of oil where all standard geology theory said presence of oil was impossible.  The well was shut down when bacteria growth so choked the pipe that more extraction was stopped.  He explains that microbes have no free oxygen deep in the earth so they get oxygen by decomposing such as iron oxide and sulphur oxide.  And the disintegration leaves metal atoms behind which are the origins of copper, zink and lead mine deposits.  And that the natural gas generated deep in the earth is one cause of earthquakes.  If we drill anywhere we will find natural gas.  Maybe not in present day commercial quantities.  But it is abundant and inexhaustible.

                              The World of Free Energy

                  In the late 1880's, trade journals in the electrical sciences were
                  predicting "free electricity" in the near future. Incredible discoveries
                  about the nature of electricity were becoming common place. Nikola
                  Tesla was demonstrating "wireless lighting" and other wonders
                  associated with high frequency currents. There was an excitement
                  about the future like never before.

                  Within 20 years, there would be automobiles, airplanes, movies,
                  recorded music, telephones, radio, and practical cameras. The
                  Victorian Age was giving way to something totally new. For the first
                  time in history, common people were encouraged to envision a
                  utopian future, filled with abundant modern transportation and
                  communication, as well as jobs, housing and food for everyone.
                  Disease would be conquered, and so would poverty. Life was getting
                  better, and this time, everyone was going to get "a piece of the pie."
                  So, what happened? In the midst of this technological explosion,
                  where did the energy breakthroughs go? Was all of this excitement
                  about "free electricity", which happened just before the beginning of
                  the last century, all just wishful thinking that "real science" eventually
                  disproved?

                  Current State of Technology

                  Actually, the answer to that question is NO. In fact, the opposite is
                  true. Spectacular energy technologies were developed right along
                  with the other breakthroughs. Since that time, multiple methods for
                  producing vast amounts of energy at extremely low cost have been
                  developed. None of these technologies have made it to the "open"
                  consumer market as an article of commerce, however. Exactly why
                  this is true will be discussed shortly. But first, I would like to
                  describe to you a short list of "free energy" technologies that I am
                  currently aware of, and that are proven beyond all reasonable doubt.
                  The common feature connecting all of these discoveries, is that they
                  use a small amount of one form of energy to control or release a
                  large amount of a different kind of energy. Many of them tap the
                  underlying Æther field in some way; a source of energy conveniently
                  ignored by "modern" science.

                  1)
                       Radiant Energy. Nikola Tesla's Magnifying Transmitter, T.
                       Henry Moray's Radiant Energy Device, Edwin Gray's EMA
                       Motor, and Paul Baumann's Testatika Machine all run on
                       Radiant Energy. This natural energy form can be gathered
                       directly from the environment (mistakenly called "static"
                       electricity) or extracted from ordinary electricity by the
                       method called "fractionation." Radiant Energy can perform the
                       same wonders as ordinary electricity, at less than 1% of the
                       cost. It does not behave exactly like electricity, however,
                       which has contributed to the scientific community's
                      misunderstanding of it. The Methernitha Community in
                       Switzerland currently has 5 or 6 working models of fuelless,
                       self-running devices that tap this energy.
                  2)
                       Permanent Magnets. Dr. Robert Adams (NZ) has developed
                       astounding designs of electric motors, generators and
                       heaters that run on permanent magnets. One such device
                       draws 100 watts of electricity from the source, generates 100
                       watts to recharge the source, and produces over 140 BTU's of
                       heat in two minutes! Dr. Tom Bearden (USA) has two working
                       models of a permanent magnet powered electrical
                       transformer. It uses a 6-watt electrical input to control the
                       path of a magnetic field coming out of a permanent magnet.
                       By channeling the magnetic field, first to one output coil and
                       then a second output coil, and by doing this repeatedly and
                       rapidly in a "Ping-Pong" fashion, the device can produce a
                       96-watt electrical output with no moving parts. Bearden calls
                       his device a Motionless Electromagnetic Generator, or MEG.
                       Jean-Louis Naudin has duplicated Bearden's device in
                       France. The principles for this type of device were first
                       disclosed by Frank Richardson (USA) in 1978. Troy Reed
                       (USA) has working models of a special magnetized fan that
                       heats up as it spins. It takes exactly the same amount of
                       energy to spin the fan whether it is generating heat or not.
                       Beyond these developments, multiple inventors have identified
                       working mechanisms that produce motor torque from
                       permanent magnets alone.
                  3)
                       Mechanical Heaters. There are two classes of machines
                       that transform a small amount of mechanical energy into a
                       large amount of heat. The best of these purely mechanical
                       designs are the rotating cylinder systems designed by
                       Frenette (USA) and Perkins (USA). In these machines, one
                       cylinder is rotated within another cylinder with about an eighth
                       of an inch of clearance between them. The space between
                       the cylinders is filled with a liquid such as water or oil, and it
                       is this "working fluid" that heats up as the inner cylinder
                       spins. Another method uses magnets mounted on a wheel to
                       produce large eddy currents in a plate of aluminum, causing
                       the aluminum to heat up rapidly. These magnetic heaters
                       have been demonstrated by Muller (Canada), Adams (NZ) and
                       Reed (USA). All of these systems can produce ten times
                       more heat than standard methods using the same energy
                       input.
                  4)
                       Super-Efficient Electrolysis. Water can be broken into
                       Hydrogen and Oxygen using electricity. Standard chemistry
                       books claim that this process requires more energy than can
                       be recovered when the gases are recombined. This is true
                       only under the worst case scenario. When water is hit with its
                       own molecular resonant frequency, using a system developed
                       by Stan Meyers (USA) and again recently by Xogen Power,
                       Inc., it collapses into Hydrogen and Oxygen gas with very
                       little electrical input. Also, using different electrolytes
                       (additives that make the water conduct electricity better)
                       changes the efficiency of the process dramatically. It is also
                       known that certain geometric structures and surface textures
                       work better than others do. The implication is that unlimited
                       amounts of Hydrogen fuel can be made to drive engines (like
                       in your car) for the cost of water. Even more amazing is the
                       fact that a special metal alloy was patented by Freedman
                       (USA) in 1957 that spontaneously breaks water into
                       Hydrogen and Oxygen with no outside electrical input and
                       without causing any chemical changes in the metal itself.
                       This means that this special metal alloy can make Hydrogen
                       from water for free, forever.
                  5)
                       Implosion/Vortex. All major industrial engines use the
                       release of heat to cause expansion and pressure to produce
                       work, like in your car engine. Nature uses the opposite
                       process of cooling to cause suction and vacuum to produce
                       work, like in a tornado. Viktor Schauberger (Austria) was the
                       first to build working models of Implosion Engines in the
                       1930's and 1940's. Since that time, Callum Coats has
                       published extensively on Schauberger's work in his book
                       Living Energies and subsequently, a number of researchers
                       have built working models of Implosion Turbine Engines.
                       These are fuelless engines that produce mechanical work
                       from energy accessed from a vacuum. There are also much
                       simpler designs that use vortex motions to tap a combination
                       of gravity and centrifugal force to produce a continuous
                       motion in fluids.
                  6)
                       Cold Fusion. In March 1989, two Chemists from the
                       University of Utah (USA) announced that they had produced
                       atomic fusion reactions in a simple tabletop device. The
                       claims were "debunked" within 6 months and the public lost
                       interest. Nevertheless, Cold Fusion is very real. Not only has
                       excess heat production been repeatedly documented, but
                       also low energy atomic element transmutation has been
                       catalogued, involving dozens of different reactions! This
                       technology definitely can produce low cost energy and scores
                       of other important industrial processes.
                  7)
                       Solar Assisted Heat Pumps. The refrigerator in your kitchen
                       is the only "free energy machine" you currently own. It's an
                       electrically operated heat pump. It uses one amount of
                       energy (electricity) to move three amounts of energy (heat).
                       This gives it a "co-efficient of performance" (COP) of about 3.
                       Your refrigerator uses one amount of electricity to pump three
                       amounts of heat from the inside of the refrigerator to the
                       outside of the refrigerator. This is its typical use, but it is the
                       worst possible way to use the technology. Here's why. A heat
                       pump pumps heat from the "source" of heat to the "sink" or
                       place that absorbs the heat. The "source" of heat should
                       obviously be HOT and the "sink" for heat should obviously be
                       COLD for this process to work the best. In your refrigerator,
                       it's exactly the opposite. The "source" of heat is inside the
                       box, which is COLD, and the "sink" for heat is the room
                       temperature air of your kitchen, which is warmer than the
                       source. This is why the COP remains low for your kitchen
                       refrigerator. But this is not true for all heat pumps. COP's of 8
                       to 10 are easily attained with solar assisted heat pumps. In
                       such a device, a heat pump draws heat from a solar collector
                       and dumps the heat into a large underground absorber, which
                       remains at 55° F, and mechanical energy is extracted in the
                       transfer. This process is equivalent to a steam engine that
                       extracts mechanical energy between the boiler and the
                       condenser, except that it uses a fluid that "boils" at a much
                       lower temperature than water. One such system that was
                       tested in the 1970's produced 350 hp, measured on a
                       Dynamometer, in a specially designed engine from just
                       100-sq. ft. of solar collector. (This is NOT the system
                       promoted by Dennis Lee.) The amount of energy it took to run
                       the compressor (input) was less than 20 hp, so this system
                       produced more than 17 times more energy than it took to
                       keep it going! It could power a small neighborhood from the
                       roof of a hot tub gazebo, using exactly the same technology
                       that keeps the food cold in your kitchen. Currently, there is
                       an industrial scale heat pump system just north of Kona,
                       Hawaii that generates electricity from temperature differences
                       in ocean water.
 

                  There are dozens of other systems that I have not mentioned, many
                  of them are as viable and well tested as the ones I have just
                  recounted. But this short list is sufficient to make my point: free
                  energy technology is here, now. It offers the world pollution-free,
                  energy abundance for everyone, everywhere. It is now possible to
                  stop the production of "greenhouse gases" and shut down all of the
                  nuclear power plants. We can now desalinate unlimited amounts of
                  seawater at an affordable price, and bring adequate fresh water to
                  even the most remote habitats. Transportation costs and the
                  production costs for just about everything can drop dramatically.
                  Food can even be grown in heated greenhouses in the winter,
                  anywhere. All of these wonderful benefits that can make life on this
                  planet so much easier and better for everyone have been postponed
                  for decades. Why? Whose purposes are served by this
                  postponement?

                  The Invisible Enemy

                  There are four gigantic forces that have worked together to create this
                  situation. To say that there is and has been a "conspiracy" to
                  suppress this technology only leads to a superficial understanding of
                  the world, and it places the blame for this completely outside of
                  ourselves. Our willingness to remain ignorant and actionless in the
                  face of this situation has always been interpreted by two of these
                  forces as "implied consent." So, besides a "non-demanding public,"
                  what are the other three forces that are impeding the availability of
                  free energy technology?

                  In standard economic theory, there are three classes of Industry.
                  These are Capital, Goods, and Services. Within the first class,
                  Capital, there are also three sub-classes. These are: 1) Natural
                  Capital. This relates to raw materials (such as a gold mine) and
                  sources of energy (such as a hydroelectric dam or an oil well). 2)
                  Currency. This relates to the printing of paper "money" and the
                  minting of coins. These functions are usually the job of Government.
                  And 3) Credit. This relates to the loaning of money for interest and its
                  extension of economic value through deposit loan accounts. From
                  this, it is easy to see, that energy functions in the economy in the
                  same way as gold, the printing of money by the Government, or the
                  issuing of credit by a bank.

                  In the United States, and in most other countries around the world,
                  there is a "money monopoly" in place. I am "free" to earn as much
                  "money" as I want, but I will only be paid in Federal Reserve Notes.
                  There is nothing I can do to be paid in Gold Certificates, or some
                  other form of "money." This money monopoly is solely in the hands
                  of a small number of private stock banks, and these banks are
                  owned by the Wealthiest Families in the world. Their plan is to
                  eventually control 100% of all of the Capital resources of the world,
                  and thereby control everyone's life through the availability (or
                  non-availability) of all goods and services. An independent source of
                  wealth (free energy device) in the hands of each and every person in
                  the world, ruins their plans for world domination, permanently. Why
                  this is true is easy to see. Currently, a nation's economy can be
                  either slowed down or sped up by the raising or lowering of interest
                  rates. But if an independent source of capital (energy) were present
                  in the economy, and any business or person could raise more capital
                  without borrowing it from a bank, this centralized throttling action on
                  interest rates would simply not have the same effect. Free energy
                  technology changes the value of money. The Wealthiest Families
                  and the Issuers of Credit do not want any competition. It's that
                  simple. They want to maintain their current monopoly control of the
                  money supply. For them, free energy technology is not just
                  something to suppress, it must be PERMANENTLY FORBIDDEN!

                  So, the Wealthiest Families and their Central Banking institutions
                  are the First Force operating to postpone the public availability of free
                  energy technology. Their motivations are the imagined "divine right to
                  rule", greed, and their insatiable need to control everything except
                  themselves. The weapons they have used to enforce this
                  postponement include intimidation, "expert" debunkers, buying and
                  shelving of technology, murder and attempted murder of the
                  inventors, character assassination, arson, and a wide variety of
                  financial incentives and disincentives to manipulate possible
                  supporters. They have also promoted the general acceptance of a
                  scientific theory that states that free energy is impossible (Laws of
                  Thermodynamics).

                  The Second Force operating to postpone the public availability of free
                  energy technology is National Governments. The problem here is not
                  so much related to competition in the printing of currency, but in the
                  maintenance of National Security. The fact is, the world out there is a
                  jungle, and humans can be counted upon to be very cruel, dishonest,
                  and sneaky. It is Government's job to "provide for the common
                  defense." For this, "police powers" are delegated by the Executive
                  Branch of Government to enforce "the rule of law." Most of us who
                  consent to the rule of law do so because we believe it is the right
                  thing to do, for our own benefit. There are always a few individuals,
                  however, that believe that their own benefit is best served by behavior
                  that does not voluntarily conform to the generally agreed upon social
                  order. These people choose to operate outside of "the rule of law"
                  and are considered outlaws, criminals, subversives, traitors,
                  revolutionaries, or terrorists.

                  Most National Governments have discovered, by trial and error, that
                  the only Foreign Policy that really works, over time, is a policy called
                  "Tit for Tat." What this means to you and me is, that governments
                  treat each other the way they are being treated. There is a constant
                  "jockeying" for position and influence in world affairs, and the
                  STRONGEST party wins! In economics, it's the Golden Rule, which
                  states: "The one with the Gold makes the Rules." So it is with
                  politics also, but its appearance is more Darwinian. It's simply
                  "survival of the fittest." In politics, however, the "fittest" has come to
                  mean the strongest party who is also willing to fight the dirtiest.
                  Absolutely every means available is used to maintain an advantage
                  over the "adversary", and everyone else is the "adversary" regardless
                  of whether they are considered friend or foe. This includes
                  outrageous psychological posturing, lying, cheating, spying, stealing,
                  assassination of world leaders, proxy wars, alliances and shifting
                  alliances, treaties, foreign aid, and the presence of military forces
                  wherever possible. Like it or not, this IS the psychological and actual
                  arena National Governments operate in. No National Government will
                  ever do anything that simply gives an adversary an advantage for free.
                  NEVER! It's national suicide. Any activity by any individual, inside or
                  outside the country, that is interpreted as giving an adversary an
                  edge or advantage, in any way, will be deemed a threat to "National
                  Security." ALWAYS!

                  Free energy technology is a National Government's worst nightmare!
                  Openly acknowledged, free energy technology sparks an unlimited
                  arms race by all governments in a final attempt to gain absolute
                  advantage and domination. Think about it. Do you think Japan will not
                  feel intimidated if China gets free energy? Do you think Israel will sit
                  by quietly as Iraq acquires free energy? Do you think India will allow
                  Pakistan to develop free energy? Do you think the USA would not try
                  to stop Osama bin Laden from getting free energy? Unlimited energy
                  available to the current state of affairs on this planet leads to an
                  inevitable reshuffling of the "balance of power." This could become an
                  all-out war to prevent "the other" from having the advantage of
                  unlimited wealth and power. Everybody will want it, and at the same
                  time, want to prevent everyone else from getting it.

                  So, National Governments are the Second Force operating to
                  postpone the public availability of free energy technology. Their
                  motivations are "self-preservation." This self-preservation operates on
                  three levels. First, by not giving undue advantage to an external
                  enemy. Second, by preventing individualized action capable of
                  effectively challenging official police powers (anarchy) within the
                  country. And third, by preserving income streams derived from taxing
                  energy sources currently in use. Their weapons include the
                  preventing of the issuance of patents based on National Security
                  grounds, the legal and illegal harassment of inventors with criminal
                  charges, tax audits, threats, phone taps, arrest, arson, theft of
                  property during shipment, and a host of other intimidations which
                  make the business of building and marketing a free energy machine
                  impossible.

                  The Third Force operating to postpone the public availability of free
                  energy technology consists of the group of deluded inventors and out
                  right charlatans and con men. On the periphery of the extraordinary
                  scientific breakthroughs that constitute the real free energy
                  technologies, lies a shadow world of unexplained anomalies,
                  marginal inventions and unscrupulous promoters. The first two
                  Forces have constantly used the media to promote the worst
                  examples of this group, to distract the public's attention and to
                  discredit the real breakthroughs by associating them with the obvious
                  frauds.

                  Over the last hundred years, dozens of stories have surfaced about
                  unusual inventions. Some of these ideas have so captivated the
                  public's imagination that a mythology about these systems
                  continues to this day. Names like Keely, Hubbard, Coler, and
                  Henderschott immediately come to mind. There may be real
                  technologies behind these names, but there simply isn't enough
                  technical data available in the public domain to make a
                  determination. These names remain associated with a free energy
                  mythology, however, and are sited by debunkers as examples of
                  fraud.

                  The idea of free energy taps very deeply into the human
                  subconscious mind. A few inventors with marginal technologies that
                  demonstrate useful anomalies have mistakenly exaggerated the
                  importance of their inventions. Some of these inventors also have
                  mistakenly exaggerated the importance of THEMSELVES for having
                  invented it. A combination of "gold fever" and/or a "messiah complex"
                  appears, wholly distorting any future contribution they may make.
                  While the research thread they are following may hold great promise,
                  they begin to trade enthusiasm for facts, and the value of the
                  scientific work from that point on suffers greatly. There is a powerful,
                  yet subtle seduction that can warp a personality if they believe that
                  "the world rests on their shoulders" or that they are the world's
                  "savior." Strange things also happen to people when they think they
                  are about to become extremely rich. It takes a tremendous spiritual
                  discipline to remain objective and humble in the presence of a
                  working free energy machine. Many inventors' psyches become
                  unstable just BELIEVING they have a free energy machine. As the
                  quality of the science deteriorates, some inventors also develop a
                  "persecution complex" that makes them very defensive and
                  unapproachable. This process precludes them from ever really
                  developing a free energy machine, and fuels the fraud mythologies
                  tremendously.

                  Then there are the out right con men. In the last 15 years, there is
                  one person in the USA who has raised the free energy con to a
                  professional art. He has raised more than $100,000,000, has been
                  barred from doing business in the State of Washington, has been
                  jailed in California, and he's still at it. He always talks about a
                  variation of one of the real free energy systems, sells people on the
                  idea that they will get one of these systems soon, but ultimately
                  sells them only promotional information which gives no real data
                  about the energy system itself. He has mercilessly preyed upon the
                  Christian Community and the Patriot Community in the USA, and is
                  still going strong. His current scam involves signing up hundreds of
                  thousands of people as locations where he will install a free energy
                  machine. In exchange for letting him put the FE generator in their
                  home, they will get free electricity for life, and his company will sell
                  the excess energy back to the local utility company. After becoming
                  convinced that they will receive free electricity for life, with no
                  out-front expenses, they gladly buy a video that helps draw their
                  friends into the scam as well. Once you understand the power and
                  motivations of the first two Forces I have discussed, its obvious that
                  this person's current "business plan" cannot be implemented. This
                  one person has probably done more harm to the free energy
                  movement in the USA than any other Force, by destroying people's
                  trust in the technology.

                  So, the Third Force postponing the public availability of free energy
                  technology is delusion and dishonesty within the movement itself.
                  The motivations are self-aggrandizement, greed, want of power over
                  others, and a false sense of self-importance. The weapons used are
                  lying, cheating, the "bait and switch" con, self-delusion and
                  arrogance combined with lousy science.

                  The Fourth Force operating to postpone the public availability of free
                  energy technology is all of the rest of us. It may be easy to see how
                  narrow and despicable the motivations of the other Forces are, but
                  actually, these motivations are still very much alive in each of us as
                  well. Like the Wealthiest Families, don't we each secretly harbor
                  illusions of false superiority, and the want to control others instead of
                  ourselves? Also, wouldn't you "sell out" if the price were high enough,
                  say, take $1 million dollars, cash, today? Or like the Governments,
                  don't we each want to ensure our own survival? If caught in the
                  middle of a full, burning theater, do you panic and push all of the
                  weaker people out of the way in a mad, scramble for the door? Or
                  like the deluded inventor, don't we trade a comfortable illusion once in
                  a while for an uncomfortable fact? And don't we like to think more of
                  ourselves than others give us credit for? Or don't we still fear the
                  unknown, even if it promises a great reward?

                  You see, really, all Four Forces are just different aspects of the
                  same process, operating at different levels in the society. There is
                  really only ONE FORCE preventing the public availability of free
                  energy technology, and that is the unspiritually motivated behavior of
                  the human animals. In the last analysis, free energy technology is an
                  outward manifestation of Divine Abundance. It is the engine of the
                  economy of an enlightened society, where people voluntarily behave
                  in a respectful and civil manner toward each other. Where each
                  member of the society has everything they need, and do not covet
                  what their neighbor has. Where war and physical violence has
                  become socially unacceptable behavior and people's differences are
                  at least tolerated, if not enjoyed.

                  The appearance of free energy technology in the public domain is the
                  dawning of a truly civilized age. It is an epochal event in human
                  history. Nobody can "take credit" for it. Nobody can "get rich" on it.
                  Nobody can "rule the world" with it. It is simply, a Gift from God. It
                  forces us all to take responsibility for our own actions and for our own
                  self-disciplined self-restraint when needed. The world as it is
                  currently ordered, cannot have free energy technology without being
                  totally transformed by it into something else. This "civilization" has
                  reached the pinnacle of its development, because it has birthed the
                  seeds of its own transformation. The unspiritualized human animals
                  cannot be trusted with free energy. They will only do what they have
                  always done, which is take merciless advantage of each other, or kill
                  each other and themselves in the process.

                  If you go back and read Ayn Rand's Atlas Shrugged or the Club of
                  Rome Report, it becomes obvious that the Wealthiest Families have
                  understood this for decades. Their plan is to live in The World of Free
                  Energy, but permanently freeze the rest of us out. But this is not
                  new. Royalty has always considered the general population (us) to
                  be their subjects. What is new, is that you and I can communicate
                  with each other now better than at anytime in the past. The Internet
                  offers us, the Fourth Force, an opportunity to overcome the combined
                  efforts of the other Forces preventing free energy technology from
                  spreading.

                  The Opportunity

                  What is starting to happen is that inventors are publishing their work,
                  instead of patenting it and keeping it secret. More and more, people
                  are "giving away" information on these technologies in books, videos
                  and websites. While there is still a great deal of useless information
                  about free energy on the Internet, the availability of good information
                  is rising rapidly. Check out the list of websites and other resources
                  at the end of this article.

                  It is imperative that you begin to gather all of the information you can
                  on real free energy systems. The reason for this is simple. The first
                  two Forces will never allow an inventor or a company to build and sell
                  a free energy machine to you! The only way you will ever get one is if
                  you, or a friend, build it yourself. This is exactly what thousands of
                  people are already quietly starting to do. You may feel wholly
                  inadequate to the task, but start gathering information now. You may
                  be just a link in the chain of events for the benefit of others. Focus on
                  what you can do now, not on how much there still is to be done.
                  Small, private research groups are working out the details as you
                  read this. Many are committed to publishing their results on the
                  Internet.

                  All of us constitute the Fourth Force. If we stand up and refuse to
                  remain ignorant and action-less, we can change the course of
                  history. It is the aggregate of our combined action that can make a
                  difference. Only the mass action that represents our consensus can
                  create the world we want. The other three Forces WILL NOT help us
                  put a fuelless power plant in our basements. They will not help us be
                  free from their manipulations. Nevertheless, free energy technology is
                  here. It is real, and it will change everything about the way we live,
                  work and relate to each other. In the last analysis, free energy
                  technology obsoletes greed and the fear for survival. But like all
                  exercises of Spiritual Faith, we must first manifest the generosity
                  and trust in our own lives.

                  The Source of Free Energy is INSIDE of us. It is that excitement of
                  expressing ourselves freely. It is our Spiritually guided intuition
                  expressing itself without distraction, intimidation or manipulation. It is
                  our open-heartedness. Ideally, the free energy technologies underpin
                  a just society where everyone has enough food, clothing, shelter,
                  self-worth, and the leisure time to contemplate the higher Spiritual
                  meanings of Life. Do we not owe it to each other, to face down our
                  fears, and take action to create this future for our children's children?
                  Perhaps I am not the only one waiting for me to act on a greater
                  Truth.

                  Free energy technology is here. It has been here for decades.
                  Communications technology and the Internet have torn the veil of
                  secrecy off of this remarkable fact. People all over the world are
                  starting to build free energy devices for their own use. The Bankers
                  and the Governments do not want this to happen, but cannot stop it.
                  Tremendous economic instabilities and wars will be used in the near
                  future to distract people from joining the free energy movement. There
                  will be essentially no major media coverage of this aspect of what is
                  going on. It will simply be reported as wars and civil wars erupting
                  everywhere, leading to UN "Peace Keeper" occupation in more and
                  more countries.

                  Western Society is spiraling down toward self-destruction, due to the
                  accumulated effects of long-term greed and corruption. The general
                  availability of free energy technology cannot stop this trend. It can
                  only reinforce it. If, however, you have a free energy device, you may
                  be better positioned to survive the political/social/economic transition
                  that is underway. No National Government will survive this process.
                  The question is, who will ultimately control the emerging World
                  Government, the First Force, or the Fourth Force?

                  The last Great War is almost upon us. The seeds are planted. After
                  this will come the beginning of a real Civilization. Some of us who
                  refuse to fight will survive to see the dawn of the World of Free
                  Energy. I challenge you to be among the ones who try.

<P>March 28 — Researchers are finding new ways to make solar power cells out of plastic — creating electricity-generating materials you could print on a sheet of paper, stick onto your windows, have painted on your house, or even wear on your back. They say plastic power could go commercial in just a few years.</P>
 

<P>MOST PEOPLE think of solar cells as the large arrays of dark, glassy squares that provide electricity for the international space station, the Hubble Space Telescope and earthbound solar-power pioneers trying to break their reliance on the power grid. But when it comes to 21st-century photovoltaics, the trend is heading toward a thinner, cheaper breed of solar cell. The state of the art in solar power involves flexible thin-film sheets of laminated semiconducting material that can convert 20 percent to 35 percent of the sun’s energy into electricity. The problem with thin-film cells is that they’re still relatively expensive to manufacture, requiring clean rooms and vacuum chambers. Several teams of researchers are trying a completely different approach, using plastics spiked with exotic inorganic materials like buckyballs or nanorods. Such materials could be mixed up like paint or ink, then sprayed or silk-screened onto a surface in combination with flexible electrodes. “We use a much dirtier process that makes it cheap,” said A. Paul Alivisatos, a chemistry professor at the University of California at Berkeley and a researcher at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory.</P>

INKJET ELECTRONICS
<P>Another team at the University of Arizona is using a similar approach to plastic solar cells, employing carbon-based buckyballs — exotic molecules that look like spherical cages — rather than the Berkeley team’s nanorods. Each team is familiar with the other’s work. Alivisatos said his research was following in the Arizona team’s footsteps, while Ghassan Jabbour, an optical sciences professor at Arizona, told MSNBC.com that Alivisatos’ work was “excellent ... it’s another variation of doing photovoltaics.” This light-emitting image of a woman was printed on a sheet of plastic using an inkjet printer loaded with an organic electronic material. The University of Arizona experiment was conducted by Professor Ghassan Jabbour and one of his students, Yuka Yoshioka. “By no means is one approach better than the other,” said Jabbour, whose findings have been published in Applied Physics Letters. “The fact that none of them has shown more than 5 percent efficiency shows that there is a lot of work to be done.” Nevertheless, Jabbour is optimistic that he’s also on the right trail. He says his plastic solar cells have achieved efficiencies of more than 2 percent, and his team recently demonstrated an inkjet-printing system that could spray a light-emitting layer onto an electrically conductive surface. The experiment produced self-illuminated images, printed on plastic — but the same principle could be applied someday to create electronic circuits on paper, glass or clothing. Such techniques could dramatically lower the cost of solar cells in the next five years or so, Jabbour said. “You can make them by the mile and sell them by the inch,” he said. Jabbour said the first applications would involve “short-term, light-emitting devices or other types of microelectronics that would only require very low power”: for example, paper-thin disposable pagers, watches, calculators, perhaps even a small, head-mounted computer. But he also dreams of the day when curtains and wallpaper could be coated with power-generating plastic. “I would like to make a window or a curtain so that one side can be photovoltaic and the other side is a light-emitter,” he said. That way, the tinted window could soak in the sunlight during the daytime, then light up the room at night, he said. “It’s pretty exciting stuff we’re doing here,” Jabbour said.</P>

ARE there parallel universes?

                             Parallel Fields

Since the discovery of the existence of Parallel Resonant Fields late in the last century, physicists
studying them have observed a number of strange phenomena associated with them.

The most obvious of these "suggested mass" or "static gravity" as it is sometimes known. An object in
a parallel field will be shown to be of indeterminable weight but still have its inertial properties intact.
There were attempts in early parallel research to use this phenomenon in skyshipping to artificially
reduce the mass of a ship and its cargo thus reducing the cost of transport. This was proven to be
highly risky because of the other major phenomenon associated with these fields.

It was discovered that a mass in a parallel field was under acceleration in a nonspatial dimension
which is in direct contact with other temporal continua. We have named these "other dimensions",
"xenocontinua". These may be seen as entire universes like our own. Some, remarkably so. If there is
a disturbance to the field while a mass is in place, it will drop out of our space, sometimes to be
replaced by an equal mass from elsewhere, sometimes to simply disappear. When there is a
replacement mass, the object is known as a "xenolite". The Institute has cataloged over twenty-six
thousand of them since 1902.

                                Xenolites

The xenolites are the only way we have had to study the xenocontinua and we have more from some
of them than we do from others. Although it is speculated that our universe is in full contact with all
others, some seem easier to reach. The ones which are the easiest to obtain information from are
referred to as "near" while those less accessible are referred to as "distant." The nearest xenocontinua
are very much like our own world containing even analogs of many of the very same people. It took
four years to determine a difference between our own world and the nearest xenocontinuum, X-1-A.
When one was found it turned out to be so minor, a difference in the spelling of a particular high school
student's nickname, that it led to a theory of "budding" of xenocontinua.

It is now believed that universes periodically fission creating two or more where once there was
one.We know of at least one, X-24-L, in which time runs backward relative to our own, that is clearly
associated with the so called "great inversion" of 1896. It has become progressively more distant since
its discovery eighteen years ago.

As I stated before, xenolites are our principal source of information from a given xenocontinuum. A
xenolite can take virtually any form, even human beings have been xenolites.

Mostly, however, they are tantalizing clues. Books and newspapers are frequent and valued xenolites,
but they often contain obscure references which would lend greater meaning to their content if we
knew what they were. Here is a list of some from various xenocontinua.

These are just a taste of some of the things that are yet to be figured out by researchers. There are
some xenocontinua that are quite distant indeed, where for instance, life evolved differently on the
Earth. There are even a few where the physical laws of nature are not as they are for us. Xenolites
from such continua tend to be quickly destroyed by even existing in our world, but a favored few can
be kept under controlled conditions.

The object known as the "bloop" (X-009603-1) appears to be four (or perhaps five) dimensional.
Although it has the quality of size, it does not have a particular size. It may or may not be animal,
vegetable or mineral. It can be seen, but its image on film does not correspond to the way it appears to
the eye. It reflects light in a forth, previously unknown primary color. Its weight changes depending
upon which of its surfaces it is resting on. It seems to have no inside or outside as we understand
them. The object was obtained as the result of the explosion of an overloaded Mollot cell during a very
high energy probe. Nothing else from its home xenocontinuum has ever been recovered.

The very first xenolite was what has come to be known as the "Ticonderoga pencil" (X-000001) and is
in the University museum in Mulweeno. The largest xenolite ever recovered was 100 cubic yards of
earth (X-000281-4) from X-9-G during a power test.

                            False Xenolites

To further confuse matters, there is the phenomenon of "false xenolites" which seem to be psyonic
constructs having nothing to do with a contacted xenocontinuum. False xenolites have included, a
human fecal bolus which smelled strongly of roses (FX-000226), an American quarter dollar piece
struck from sharp Cheddar cheese (FX-000048), a tango record which glows in the dark (FX-000530),
a copper ingot with the word "unless" inscribed on it (FX-000912), a set of false teeth made entirely of
bologna sausage save for one gold tooth (FX-005460) and an inside-out tomato (FX-000018). We now
believe that these objects originate in the interstices between xenocontinua.

It is known to science as the "Alladin's Lamp" effect.

An operator of parallel resonant field apparatus probes with a sense of expectation of encountering an
object, making a wish, as it were. The focus falters for an instant and the xenocontinuum is lost even
as the transfer process has begun and a transmission of "flux" from between the worlds takes place
instead. This flux manifests itself as matter, energy or some combination of the two, as in the very first
false xenolite, the eternally vibrating doorknob (FX-000001). This common brass knob has never
ceased emitting a 74 cycle hum since the day it appeared.

False xenolites may only be obtained by accident. No attempt to create one has ever succeeded The
discipline of studying these objects is called psudoxenology and is so baffling a science, that a degree in
it has never been awarded to anyone in spite of intensive work in this field. It has been suggested that
this is the only hard science in which the scientific method cannot be used. Personally, I do not hold
with this view but I admit that much remains unknown.

                          Mollot's Discovery

The technology which made this research possible emerged in the first decade of the twentieth
century. Starting in 1902, Alexander Rodman Mollot, working from ideas devised by Valdmar Poulsen,
built the first static gravity focus matrices, better known as "Mollot cells". The original concept was to
create a solid state device which would amplify a radio signal. No one was as surprised as him when
the completed device did nothing to the radio signal. He abandoned the unsuccessful device to explore
other avenues of research when he noticed that it didn't weigh the same as it had at the time of its
fabrication. There were forces at work here of which he knew nothing at all.

Through trial and error, Mollot started to create equipment which would be able to both quantify and
utilize the peculiar forces generated in the device which he now referred to as the Mollot cell. This
was the first primitive parallel resonant field translator. The little machine would produce a region
around itself which appeared to be blurred and indistinct as if there was an area in which one could
only see double. The device used no electricity but rather used the induced energy produced from the
Mollot cell's interaction with the highly polished "phase plate". Mollot hoped that with the cell now
controlled he would have discovered an anti-gravity device.

Within seconds of activating the device for the first time, he dropped a pencil on to the phase plate,
knocking it out of alignment and deactivating the machine. It wasn't until hours later that he noticed
that a transformation had taken place. He was jotting down some notes on a napkin at a local diner
when he saw that the pencil which had had printed on its side, as so many do, St. Edmundsburgh, NA,
this one now said, Ticonderoga, NY. The standard Dixon pencil was, then as now, made in St.
Edmundsburgh, never at this upstate New York town with the hard to pronounce name. He called
stationary stores all over town to find out if they had heard of such a pencil. None had.

Back in the lab at night he dropped a bottle cap from the Regal Cola he had with dinner into the field,
when he examined it he read the name "Dr. Pepper". It was the first intentionally obtained xenolite
(X-000002).

Demonstrations of this peculiar effect had enough impact on the president of the Dilmount Institute
that Mollot was allowed to set up his own department to research this phenomenon. This department
became the Institute for Parallel Studies.

                 Exploration of the Xenocontinua

What we came to know about the various xenocontinua was realized slowly. Originally they were
numbered in order of discovery, but a more useful system of numbering based on "distance" from our
own world was introduced in 1905. A few of them are as follows.

     X-1-A has already been discussed as being almost indistinguishable from our own.
     X-2-A is very similar to our own world with the exception that Texas never won independence
     from Mexico. Greenland is a sovereign nation of Eskimos.
     X-2-B similar to X-2-A but Andorra is part of Spain and Woodrow Wilson is known as Thomas
     Wilson.
     X-3-A through F are a series of xenocontinua where the Confederacy won the Civil War. In
     only one of them, X-3-D, was it not brought back into the Union after ten years or less.
     In all xenocontinua more distant than these, the Antarctic continent is a frozen wasteland and
     the republic of Bromfkidor does not exist. Also there is no knowledge of parallel field
     technology in any of these xenocontinua.
     X-4-A through GG are an extensive series of xenocontinua in which the Dutch held onto control
     of the New Amsterdam colony, in hundreds of other particulars they are as different from each
     other as night and day in spite of the fact that all have a common history up to 1887.
     The X-5 through X-13 xenocontinua become progressively more distopian the more distant they
     become. Starting with X-5-C we start seeing a large number of socialist style governments
     holding dominance mid-century. In the X-10 through X-12 continua at least half the worlds
     population lives under a particularly odious form of communism which harshly restricts personal
     freedom. Further, about half of the remaining states are oppressive dictatorships.
     Two of these xenocontinua, X-7-C and X-12-B have actually been reached a good number of
     times. X-12-B has actually been visited by explorers on several occasions and it is believed to
     be the original home of Admiral Wendell Wyley. The X-12 continua are characterized by a
     number of historical particulars. Abraham Lincoln was assassinated shortly after the end of the
     Civil War. Bolivar failed to unite Colombia permanently. California remained a part of the
     United States. In most of these worlds, Europe is a major battle ground in the first half of the
     century.
     X-13-F through N continua have civilization fallen into ruins and the world almost totally
     depopulated. Xenolites from several of these come to us highly radioactive. No one knows why.
     The X-14 xenocontinua all share in common a later exploration of the New World beginning
     around 1560. In all of these worlds South America, known here as Virginia, is colonized by the
     British. North America, known here as America, is colonized by the Italians east of the
     Mississippi and the Russians and the Chinese in the west. The largest city in the twentieth
     century is Nova Roma on the gulf coast.
     The X-15 through X-25 xenocontinua are progressively more distant variations based on the
     Chinese colonizing most of North America while the situation for South America is similar to
     that in the X-14 series.
     The X-26 through X-45 continua are based upon an entirely different race arising in Africa in
     early prehistory. In these worlds civilization arises about 12000 B.C. in western Africa and soon
     thereafter in the Italian peninsula. Africans colonize South America before the Indians get
     there. North America is never conquered by outsiders and a powerful civilization of red men
     rules it in the twentieth century.

More distant xenocontinua are known by only sparse evidence and difficult to name as a result. We
visualize these clusters of xenocontinua as a series of bands which are given region numbers.

Because the previously discussed xenocontinua constitute the first region, the region beyond these is
known as the second region. In this region we find worlds where civilization emerged much later and
in our time humanity has risen no higher than ancient Summer.

In the third region humanity remains in the wilds or has not even evolved in exactly the same way that
it has here.

In the forth region, which includes over a thousand worlds, humans never appeared on the Earth. In a
few clusters of these worlds some other creature rose to the estate of civilization. Interpreting
xenolites from this region is highly speculative and the opportunity for error is great.

In the fifth region mammals never evolved. In a few continua in this region we find truly alien life on
Earth.

In the sixth region life never emerged from the oceans or failed to evolve altogether.

In the seventh region the Earth formed differently or at a different distance from the sun or not at all.

The eighth and ninth regions are distinguished by differences in solar evolution including variants like
the sun forming as a double star or a white dwarf.

The tenth region is very hard to figure out because there is no matter in our part of the galaxy. It
extends for at least one million xenocontinua.

The Eleventh region has no matter at all but is very energetic. Light goes slightly faster here. Beyond
these regions there are large gaps in sampling. Entire regions are identified based on only single or
fragmentary contacts. The object known as the "bloop" is believed to originate in a xenocontinuum
somewhere in the twenty-eighth region. It is the most distant stable xenolite ever recovered.

                     Functions of Parallel Fields

Parallel fields can be visualized as shifting domains which act as a kind of "package" for our particular
reality. I have illustrated this as a nested set of currents. This field impregnates and serves as the
skeleton of our universe (fig.1). The standard state of the field is counter rotating and is referred to as
"bipolar".

A parallel resonant field translator will, in its initializing state, "translate" the field into a "unipolar" state
where gravity is rendered intermittent (fig.2). There are also "omnipolar" fields which are unstable and
tend to dismantle matter for as long as they exist (fig.3). Some accidents in early researches have
been blamed on these fields.

A Mollot cell by itself will cause distortion in a parallel field (fig.4), but that distortion is limited without
part of the cell's static gravity charge being bled off to a focusing surface known as a "phase plate".
This, along with a tiny amount of power, becomes a simple Parallel Resonant Field Translator, or
PRFT, as they are popularly known.

SEPTEMBER 25 UPDATE: The Speed Of Gravity. Is gravity's speed a constant or can it slow down with distance or otherwise be a variable? Is gravity an independant force or is gravity an element of someother force? Calculations of the size, age, and origins of the universe depend on correctness of the speed of gravity.     In 1987, the Australians Setterfield and Norman, having noted that in all the measurements of the velocity of light, that each time a slower speed was determined, proposed that the speed of light was not an invariable constant velocity but appeared to be a variable.  If so, this would upset the calculations of the age of the earth and the universe. If it was so that the speed of light has been constantly decaying, then the big-bang theory of the creation proposed by Carl Hubble was in trouble.  His theory depended on the Dopler red-shift in the light coming from the most distant galaxies.  If the outermost observable galaxies are proceeding out-ward at nearly the speed of light, then they must have come from some common center and a big-bang creation.  But, if Satterley and Norman are correct about about the speed of light, then there could be other explaination for the Dopler red-shift.  It could be that the most outermost observerable galaxies are stationary, and always have been.  Then this problem comes up:  If galaxies did not come from elsewhere, and are not going anywhere, then HOW did they GET there?  This opens the possibility of a young universe, as young as the Biblical 6,600 years.  And also of a possible everywhere, at the same instant, creation: galaxies did not come from elsewhere, therefore, they must have been created in place!  This theory got serious consideration from the scientific community, and at least some partial confirmation was found.  Light speed does appear to depend on what medium transports it.  Example: radio waves pass through water at a known measurable speed.  But visable light passes through at a considerably slower rate.  Therefore, if the speed of light is not a constant but dependent on the permability of the medium, then all equasions using the speed of light as one of the factors are affected.  An example would be the rate of radio-active decay.  For details, see: Lambert Dolphin: http://www.~best.com/~dolphin/cdk.conseq.html

     The issue is not fully settled either way.  To the Keys To The Kingdom Church, it would seem Setterfield and Normam have the better evidence.  Each time the speed of light is measured, a slightly lower value is found.  Gravity also seems to be declining.  Gravity is measured every ten years, and each time is slightly less than before.  However most subsequent considerations now seem to reject Satterfield and Norman's theory about the decay of the speed of light, and instead retain the theory of the velocity of light as a constant, and therefore the ten billion age of an ever-expanding universe.  For details see: http://www.mypage.direct.ca/g/gcramer/light.html.   Most of the scientific community seems to have now reverted to the standard theory of the velocity of light, the multiple-billion age of the universe, and Carl Hubbles's big-bang creation theory.  Some are saying the slower speeds being recorded are due to more ever more precise measurements, but the issue is still open.

    Jan 27...In his web page called The Mysterious Hebrew Codes, Grant R. Jeffrey claims the practice called "equidistant letter sequences" (ELS) yields such a surprising number of special words that it does not seem possible to have human origin. If a particular word is spelled out at, say, every 22nd letter of the Massoretic text, then more letters of this group of words are also spaced at intervals of 22 letters. The use of computers has speeded up the testing of this. Does anyone out there have a reasonable explaination for this? Homer's Illiad and Odessy books also have astonishing mathematical balance of units built into them.  Some ancient writers could do such amazing things.   For more:..... click here

    In 1988 The Shroud of Turin was schedualed to be tested for radioactive carbon-14 in order to determine it's date.  Subsequently investigators Kersten and Gruber and also Hoare gave strong evidence the Shroud was never tested.  They claim the pieces cut from the Shroud were switched and only pieces already known to be 14th century were tested. This evidence seems to the Keys To The Kingdom Church to be so compelling that it earns top billing.  However, to date, most scientists are pursuing another course to show the Shroud is authentically first century origin.  They are finding much reason to think standard carbon-14 testing could not in this case give a correct reading.  The consensus among scientists now seems strongly in favor of rejecting the 1988 finding and believing the Shroud is authentically first century.  For details on these developments, see: The Shroud Of Turin page.....click here

My apologies for the delay in answering your recent e-mail to my Shroud of Turin Website, but things have been quite hectic here lately, and I am about two weeks behind in my e-mail. Your patience is appreciated.

You are correct in stating that I give no special exposure to Kersten and Gruber's book, "The Jesus Conspiracy". However, I do correspond with Elmar Gruber regularly, and the book is listed (in ALL of its various language editions) on the "Shroud Booklist" page of my website, so I certainly am not ignoring it. The booklist also has three of Hoare's books, including the one you mentioned.

There are many Shroud theories that are not featured prominently on my website. I was a participant in the 1978 examination so I write about this from firsthand knowledge. I make a stringent effort to keep my site unbiased and refrain from including my opinions, particularly in areas outside my own expertise. In that respect, I am not qualified to argue theology, nor do I care to debate theological theories on a page primarily dedicated to Shroud science.

As I have already told Elmar Gruber, it is inappropriate for me to comment on an area in which I have no firsthand knowledge. I guess it is possible that samples could have been switched for whatever reasons have been proposed. I have no one in the hierarchy of the Church that I can ask for verification, so it is truly unfair of me to comment. I would only be adding my unqualified opinion to a controversy that reflects politics rather than science. And let's face it, too many comments about the Shroud have already been made by those totally unqualified to make them. I do not wish to be added to that list.

Whether Jesus died on the cross, or elsewhere in his 90's, is of little significance to a student of the image. Remember, I am a photographer and the image is where my primary interest lies. And I was not aware that it was an accepted "fact" that Jesus lived into his 90's. However, I am Jewish, so my knowledge in that area is rather limited. Honestly, I really have no interest in "collapsing all traditional theologies". However, I must tell you that the general consensus of science is that the image portrayed on the cloth is that of a DEAD crucifixion victim. According to the forensic pathologists that I know that have studied the image, the man portrayed on the cloth appearS to already be in a state of rigor mortis. I am not equipped to debate this point, but Dr. Robert Bucklin's work and the work of Dr. Pierre Barbet seem to support the theory that the man on the Shroud was dead when the image was formed.

Since my goal is to make information available and allow people to decide for themselves, I agree that all theories should be represented on the website. In that respect, I believe I have done quite well. One can find the work of Walter McCrone, STURP, Nicholas Allen, Kersten & Gruber and even the nonsensical book by Picknett & Prince claiming Leonardo DaVinci painted the Shroud, all listed in the booklist. However, I feel no requirement to "promote" any theory over any other. Consequently, I have restricted my writings to those things I can write about with authority.

Since you have a website that presents your point of view, I will check it out tonight. Please understand that I only create links to other sites specifically about the Shroud. I generally do not link to sites that are theological in content, although I provide my viewers with access to more than a dozen Internet search engines, so they can explore related information on their own.

I hope my position is clearer to you now. Also, because of the large amount of information on the website, I understand that you might have missed seeing the items you thought were absent from my site.

    About third parties: Third political parties do not need to get elected to be powerfully effective in America.  What happens is: when they of a third party become numerous enough that they can SWING an election, both major parties begin to accomodate.  Suppose, Democrats and Republicans are equally divided but there is a third party with, say, 5% support.  By throwing their 5% to Democrats, Democrats get elected.  Or by throwing support to Republicans, Republicans can come to power.  At this point both major parties begin to say, why YES, what the third party is for, we too have ALWAYS been for.  Of course this is a lie: they have always opposed it.  And as soon as they can get elected will again minimize and sabotage to the maximum possible extent.  But several of the features of the modern U.S. of which we're most proud, have come to be because of the influence of third parties which never got elected.  Get down your history book and check it out!

    But do we ever have elections any more?  It was said that in the Nixon vs Kennedy election, the swing "votes" were were from S.W. Texas counties which each had twice as many "votes" as the population of the county!

    Some reporters claim voting machines can be rigged to report a predetermined outcome.  So that our ballots have nothing to do with the outcome.  In the Bush vs. Buchanan N.H. primary, it is said that in all the precincts using paper ballots, Buchanan won, usually about 60% to 30%.  In all the precincts using "voting" machines, Bush won by about 60% to 30%.  The voting machines were set up by a company run by Bush's former Chief of Staff.  Do we still really have elections any more?  How can you tell?

    An item not seen here, but passed on to us: Marjorie Kelly, publisher of Business Ethics, a magazine, reports the average corporate executive officer now making $3.7 million versus $20,000 for the average worker=187 times as much.

    Item seen in the 3-29-96 Spotlight Newspaper: In 1960, the richest 20 percent of the world's people received 30 times more income than the lowest 20 percent. In 1991, the richest one-fifth received 61 times more.  While the poorest 20 percent got 2.3 percent of world income in 1960, this share fell to a meager 1.4 percent by 1991.  The income share going to the richest 20 percent meanwhile rose from 70 percent to 85 percent.

Question: Aren't voting systems where the majority rules, automatically undemocratic? Take a hypothetical situation in which Party A gets 51% and the opposition Party B gets 49%. The majority gets elected and gets their way. But aren't 49% of the people now without representation and being taxed without effective representation?

    The Keys To The Kingdom preferred way of voting would be like the Russians do it.   Here, we only can vote yes for the least objectionable candidate.  Someone will get it even if he gets only one ballot, which he cast for himself!  We can't get rid of the bad-guys by not voting!   But in Russian elections, voters could draw a line through a candidate's name, and thus cast a NEGATIVE vote.  Then, if there were more negitive votes for that person than there were yes votes for that person--he did NOT get elected even though he might have more yes votes than any other candidate!  Such as Neut Gringrich, with very high negative ratings, would not have a chance!   It seems that most people do not want him, BUT he gets elected anyhow!  Our system just doesn't work!   CAN'T work!   We don't really have a vote because we CAN'T cause to happen what we are trying to get! The system doesn't allow a proper outcome because we have no negative vote allowed!
